Hey, hey! i'm morgan Ziegler!
I didn’t grow up dreaming of a career in birth work. It wasn’t a path I had planned for myself, but rather one I was led to through life’s experiences. Along the way, I discovered an incredible calling that has shaped my journey in the most beautiful and fulfilling way.
The work I do now as a birth photographer and doula is, without a doubt, the most rewarding path I’ve ever been on, second only to the profound experience of becoming a mother myself. Every day, I am honored to walk alongside families during such a powerful and intimate moment in their lives, and I feel incredibly privileged to be part of the stories I capture and the support I provide.

I didn't hire the birth photographer or doula
I still regret that to this day
I didn’t hire a birth photographer or a doula for either of my own births, and looking back, I really wish I had. My son’s birth was traumatic, and there are moments I can’t remember clearly. I didn’t know a doula could offer support or explain what was happening, and I didn’t know birth photography was an option to help me process and remember.
For my daughter’s birth, it was during COVID, and while we couldn’t afford a photographer or doula, I was grateful we could afford a birth center, where I wasn’t alone or laboring in a mask.
My memories of both births are foggy, especially my first, and it hurts knowing I don’t have photos to look back on. That’s why I do this work now, to help families have the support and memories I didn’t have. Every moment in birth is worth remembering.

You deserve to feel fully supported, heard, and seen during this powerful moment. I’m here not only to walk with you through every step but also to protect your memories, because, trust me, they vanish way too fucking fast.
