My Story...

I'm a wife and mother of two little, beautiful but crazy souls. Living our best lives in Texas, where my family has decided to call home, and we love it! Originally from Ohio, it's hot as hell here in Texas, most of the year, but I will take that over freezing my ass off anywhere else. My husband and I briefly met in High School but were on two entirely different paths. We met later on in our lives after we both had enlisted in the military. I was an Army Reservist and he was an active duty Marine. We've been together for 7 years now, building a life wilder than our dreams. My two littles are the light of my life. Our first born is our little guy, he was born right before my husband's first deployment and he is what got me through all of those days I love to call him my gentle giant cause he's a big boy but super sweet and cares deeply for everyone. Our second born, is our little girl, she was a bit unexpected but a joy without a doubt. Born in the height of COVID, she is my reason for my interest in birth photography, born in a birth center surrounded by calm and caring souls, our experience lit a fire for my passion of birth photography. She keeps us on our toes daily (COVID baby for you, lol), and is the definition of a wild child. Also, pretty sure she'll be my karma for my rebellious teenage years.

Birth is one of the most significant and vulnerable moments in a mother's life, and I'm here to make you feel comfortable having someone document it. My goal is to take the pressure off your support person and allow them to place their attention fully on you and your birth while I do my magic behind the scenes. You're in safe hands that make you feel empowered and secure in your sacred space, I know when to be seen and when not to. I'll do my own communication with your birth team to ensure I'm able to capture the moments you most want during your labor. I don't want you to worry about whether or not you'll remember those tiny details of that day, because you know with your whole heart that I can confidently capture those for you!

For family and maternity sessions, I want to help get you styled perfect for the session, I want you to look your best for these images we're about to create together, that's why once you're booked you get full access to my style guide! I want to make sure your location is as perfect as you've imagined. I want you to relax, and just simply enjoy your littles and spouse in the moment. I'll tell you now, if you're looking for someone who is gonna say "okay, look here and smile" we aren't going to be a good fit and I'd be happy to help you find someone who will be!

Lifestyle Newborns are another passion of mine, second to birth. I come to the comfort of your own home and just photograph your newest addition with the family in a place that will nurture them with love. Getting all the sweet newborn baby details without the stress of leaving your home or needing the baby in the perfect posing position. This is a natural, carefree approach to the typical newborns you see posted everywhere. While wrapped and posed newborns have my heart, I am not trained in the safety required to wrap them, aside from my motherly knowledge of swaddling, which is why I do not offer wrapped newborn photos. I have plenty of recommendations if you're looking for that!
